A relationship is about how you feel about the other person. When you are in a relationship, you need to trust each other and support each other. To build a healthy relation, one has to accept the other the way they are. One should understand the needs of others and should try to fulfill the expectations others have. There will be disagreements between the partners, but how you compromise and take the decision will determine your relationship. When in a relationship, try to encourage and motivate your partner. A healthy relationship means to help your partner to grow and not pull them down. There will be times when you will start feeling disconnected, stressful in a relationship. To maintain a happy relationship, you can use boosters now and then. You can have fun activities together, talk to each other, etc.
Some Ways To Know Whether You Are In A Right Relationship Or Not?
- Notice if you are comfortable or not, it takes time to get familiar with your partner. To feel at ease and to be comfortable, take a while. In the initial stage, you get nervous and anxious. But ones you take taking things seriously, you start getting comfortable with the person. If you are not comfortable, then you can’t be yourself, and you can’t give a hundred percent to the relationship. So, assessing this parameter is very important to be in long-lasting relations.
- See if your relationship makes you happy or not- Things will not be smooth always. There will be arguments, fights, and disagreements, but that doesn’t define whether you are happy or not. Even after many ups and downs, people are happy with their partners. They try to change things which annoy their partner and make them happy.
- Assess if you are satisfied or not- Try to assess every aspect of a relationship if you are satisfied or not — for example,- communication, finance, emotional intimacy, etc. If in most of the parameters you are happily satisfied, then you don’t have to worry. No-one is a complete package, and everyone lacks somewhere. So try to adjust with fault, if its nit extreme, move on with the bond.
- Check how much you have in common- “Opposite attracts” works for a short time only and never lasts long. If not a hundred percent, one should be compatible with each other to the maximum. Otherwise, it will be challenging to talk about something or to go outside to have fun. If some parameter is common, One can have fun doing that activity with their partner.
When you are in a relationship, never compare yours with others. Everyone has a different compatibility level and different goals.
